1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the Pulse EV mobile application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Pulse EV is a third-party vehicle monitoring application that displays telemetry data from Tesla vehicles. The App provides:

  • Live dashboard with real-time vehicle status
  • Trip tracking and driving history
  • Charge session recording and analytics
  • Battery health and degradation tracking
  • Efficiency insights and recommendations

Pulse EV is read-only. The App cannot send commands to your vehicle (lock, unlock, start, climate control, etc.).

3. Not Affiliated with Tesla

Pulse EV is an independent product and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Tesla, Inc. "Tesla," "Model 3," "Model Y," "Model S," "Model X," and "Supercharger" are trademarks of Tesla, Inc. We use Tesla's official Fleet API under their developer terms.

4. Account & Tesla Authorization

To use Pulse EV, you must authorize the App through Tesla's official OAuth flow. By doing so, you grant Pulse EV permission to access your vehicle's telemetry data. You may revoke this access at any time through Tesla's third-party app settings.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Tesla account. Pulse EV never receives or stores your Tesla password.

5. Subscription & Billing

  • Pulse EV is a paid subscription service priced at $2.99/month.
  • New users receive a 14-day free trial.
  • Subscriptions are billed through Apple App Store or Google Play Store and are subject to their respective terms.
  • Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
  • You can manage or cancel your subscription through your device's App Store or Play Store settings.

6. Data Accuracy

Pulse EV displays data as received from Tesla's Fleet API and fleet telemetry servers. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any data displayed in the App. Vehicle data may be delayed, incomplete, or unavailable due to:

  • Tesla API outages or rate limiting
  • Vehicle connectivity issues
  • Network interruptions
  • Vehicle sleep states (Teslas sleep to preserve the 12V battery; telemetry pauses while asleep)

Do not rely on Pulse EV for safety-critical decisions. Always refer to your vehicle's built-in displays for real-time driving information.

Security-sensitive indicators (including lock status, sentry mode, and location) may be delayed and must not be relied upon for determining the physical security of your vehicle. Always verify lock status through your Tesla account, the Tesla mobile app, or by physically checking your vehicle before relying on it for security decisions. Pulse EV is not responsible for any loss, theft, or damage resulting from reliance on displayed security-related information.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
  • Use the App for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our servers or other users' data
  • Redistribute, resell, or sublicense the App or its data
  • Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) to interact with the App

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Pulse EV and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to:

  • Loss of data or vehicle telemetry
  • Inaccurate data displayed in the App
  • Service interruptions or downtime
  • Any actions taken based on information displayed in the App

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Pulse EV depends on third-party services (Tesla API, cloud infrastructure) that are outside our control. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the App at any time with reasonable notice.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App if you violate these Terms. You may terminate your account at any time by cancelling your subscription and contacting [email protected] to request account deletion.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via the App or email. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of the state in which Pulse EV operates.
